Hope everyone had a decent to nice holiday -

I was curious about the correct /recommended height/length of a cue for myself .
I am considering a custom and some information would allow me to speak a bit more intelligent to the cuemaker
I know there is a formula/recommended ? somewhere out there for this very inquiry.
I have seen it but it didn't register at the time.

Any Help would be appreciated--
Thanks in advance

I located info on the subject HOWEVER the platform of it is for PC--

I use a Mac

Chris,
I'm a little over 6'3" and I've got a 58" cue and a 60" cue, both custom cues that I had made for me. I shoot just as comfortably with the 58 as I do with the 60, just my hand placement, relative to the butt, is a little different.

I am your height and I play with 60 inch cues, evenly split with 30 inch butts and 30 inch shafts. I have used this length for many years and prefer it to any other length.

Good Luck in your cue selection.

Tall guy /Tall Cue ?

Thanks guys for the comments/advice never shot w/ 60 " cue I thought I would try one on for size.
If I can find one reasonable for a few bucks to try it would answer a question or 2.

I found a Mike Sigel (import) on the bay .

I will have to sell off a couple of cues.
I looked for the medical /body engineering information and only found a site that I could not
load to my MAC.
Send me a PM if anyone hears of a 60"
Thanks,
Chris

I'm right at the same height and have cues in a variety of lengths, but my 59" Abear seems to be about the most consistent for me.
I love 60" cues, but not all cases are made to handle them-59" has never been a problem, and built right has a good balance and feel.

You may call Paul Sumrall (S&S CUES)806-778-1957 he can make you anything you want and the cues play great with a good price also.
Thanks
Nick
