Cue length ?

Hello,
Most players are under 6 feet so they don't see the problem or they grip at the very end. I bought a 60" cue and it was such a immediate difference for the better I wouldn't consider playing with a 58" cue again.

As a snooker player, I was told to get a slightly longer cue than standard by a world class coach and it's really helped. It's not to reach more shots, it's to gain more follow-through through the cue ball.

i suggest you try a shorter length cue. i'm 5' 9" and have been playing with a 55", 18 oz. cue for years.
the old masters played with 56" & 57" cues against heavier balls and longer tables.
if you watch other players, even pros, you will see that they usually have about 5" of length behind their grip hand. this is normal on 80% of their shots.
if you take this unused length, which is the heaviest part of the stick, and after eliminating it, spread the weight evenly over the entire stick, you have a perfectly balanced feel. it's just shorter and easier to control.
do not use the excuse that you cannot reach some stretch shots. i carry my own bridge head for my break cue.
