Num, Rufus had a good idea with the watch batteries.
You can get the small laser pointers along with a regular light inexpensively.
They take several small watch or hearing aid batteries.
The light itself is a small metal tube. The inner guts could be taken out and used for your power supply easily. The on/off button can be incorporated on the side of your butt sleeve.
Even tho the cue may have been bored for a weight bolt, you could bore the sleeve large enuff for the guts and adjust the weight of the cue accordingly later.
Radio shack also has all the goodies. You could turn the sleeve into a disco light show. It definitely would be a worth a laugh at the pool hall if you can pull it off.
Obviously you are going to try it out on a pawn shop cue first, right?
