If anyone happens to know someone,
could you please steer me towards a cue-builder of Catholic affiliation?

Seriously? So if it misses you can get it Exorcised? What would a cuemaker's religious affiliation(if any) have to do with a cue? BTW, i'm Catholic(NON practicing) myself.

Do you mean a strong, practicing Catholic,- communion, confession, church on Sunday, Wednesday, etc...
or someone that calls him self Catholic mainly because that's what his parents are, went to church on Easter and Christmas,
was probably confirmed and received First Communion, went to confession once or twice, knows the prayers, etc.... the common, non-practicing Catholic?

Only certain priests can do that. Maybe your cue would have to start bleeding and speak
latin or Aramaic or something like that
 
I'm Catholic and went to a Catholic high school and university.
But, not overly religious now.
I torture woods even on Sundays and holy week.
 
Any maker with a Spanish last name is likely a Catholic.

I went to a confession last Sunday. The priest recognized my voice. He plays pool at a local hall.
He said, " Get out of here. I ain't got all day. Just e-mail me your confession."

I give my woods a break on Good Fridays.
 
Al Selinger, founder of Dufferin cues, was a practising Catholic.

Leonard Mallari, a well known cue maker in Maryland , D.C. , Virginia area is a Catholic. He might be able to help you out. He has made cues for most of the top Filipino players He does excellent work.

Thought they might know some things about Catholic practices that I do not.

How does that pertain to cue making? Well it kinda doesn't.

But it may answer one of my other questions of whether The Vatican has a Billiard table or a Pocket Billiard table.

Wouldn't a table mechanic or salesman know more about a table at the Vatican than a cuemaker? Now if you wanted to know if the Pope was a McDermott or a Joss man, then a cuemaker may help :wink:

I'm going to take a guess though that yes, there is some sort of billiards table at the Vatican but it's more likely to be 3 cushion or snooker.

I'm Jewish also, but by history, culture and descendants only. Soon as we developed microscopes and telescopes anything written in any religious book became as much a fairy tale as Peter Rabbit.

A bit of a cryptic way of asking your question though LOL

In 1846, Pius IX had a billiard table installed.
