I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any cue makers who use/used a big, brass 3/8-14 pin on their cues (I'm trying to figure out who made the sneaky pete in the attached pictures). Thanks.

Are you sure it has 14 threads per inch? Looks almost like a southwest style pin.

Odd pins

> If I'm not mistaken,Cue-Tec uses a 3/8-14 thread, but that one looks a little off. For the cuemakers that use the typical modified Acme pins, how do you check the thread depth on these, with thread wires the same way you do a 60 degree v-thread? Tommy D.

The threads look like modfd. acme to me ( 28-29 degree kind).
It does not appear to be a 14 pitch to me. Bender's pin have tighter threads than the one on the pic.
Someone prolly made the cue and machined his the pin as well.
It looks like a 3/8 11 to me.
