Cue Prices... Rediiculous!!!

A cue is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It’s definitely a product that the consumer sets the price. People thought $500 for the revo shaft was crazy but people paid it and still pay it and I think most of your major brand names manufactures are at or near that price So the price is right. If they are charging more then their quality and reputation dictate they will find out fast .

I suspect revo will go up soon, a few are now in the 600 dollar range and revo seems to still be pretty much the one people measure against.

picked up a $160 RHINO shaft a while ago, after playing with it for a few hours sold my CF Cynergy, the Rhino played better imo

I just bought a Sneaky from Jerry Powers at Jerico for the price of a cheaper joss. My cheaper Joss is now for sale as that Sneaky plays far better.

I wanted to buy a p3 predator carom cue about 1.5 yr ago. It was $1099.
Then a year ago: $1249.
Today: $1950.

When I see cue prices and how often they sell, I wonder: Why aren't there more great American players?

Prices are high in part because so many cues are being sold. Like, how many cues does someone need? I would have figured America has enough cues in circulation by now!

Not sure why you think people who own the most cars are the best drivers.

Thars a hole in that logic.

I don't. I am just surprised that so many pool cues at high prices are sold in the U.S., especially given all the lament about the lack of great young American players compared to Europe.

Somebody is buying all these cues. Who are they!

Just people that like nice things...
