Cue Restoration

THAT'S the kind of stuff I've heard about Scott. No issues, no problems, great work.

I called him last week, to let him know I'd be out of town for a few days, and not send the cue to me until I came back. He immediately gave me an update on where the cue stood, refinish-wise, and that he believed it would turn out great.

I have ZERO reason to believe otherwise....but it's nerve racking when you here someone so dead-set against the guy. Unfortunate...but at the same time, makes you wonder what REALLY happened, ya know?

scott from proficent.Well I never met him and seen his work on a local guys cue .Well here ya go bad mouth me for a while I don't care.I would never have him touch one of my cues I remember a kikel cue that comes into mind .kikel was so pissed about the work that he refused to touch it again.shorty's cue was not the only cue he has done that the customer was not happy with,No one has the balls thoe to talk about it here thoe,Scott was in the wrong for adding a color to the veneer that was not right with out first calling the customer and talking about it.Plain and simple.I would have not liked it either myself.This is why people should send the cue back to the original maker.I myself would not want any work or refinish rushed on my cue it sure seems like scott refinishes a lot of cues every week.if he don't have time to talk over the things with a customer maybe he should not try to make so much money all the time bye rushing out 20 cues a week .I no some guys think he is god fine with me I just stating some facts here.Like every one else he will learn from his mistakes.I think there to many people on this forum here talking crap and being a cry baby because some one said a naughty word.I seem to have some rep points against me because I spell bad or I don't type good.Who gives a crap.I love pool and pool cues and I dont need every ones to cents.I say don't like some ones post's just look past it.I not been posting as much as I have had because it realy getting stupid around here and i don't want to hurt any of you boys and girls here with a few words.Rather than post on some ones thread every time about bull crap that has nothing to do with the thread or pool send them a pm or get there phone number some time and chatt with them they might not be to bad of a person and you may actually learn some thing.I myself have done this with deadstroke used to hate the guy now I think he is a alright guy just from pm him and talking to him it is easey to misunderstand people.I met shorty on this board and I would have to say he is my most trusted freind and probally best budie.he has proved this to me many times.He even bought me a cue once when I was broke and did not have one and let me pay him 3 months later just on my word and I payed him and he will always be a great guy to me no matter what he posts.So lay off the guy.Sorry about this long post but wanted to get some stuff off my chest.

I find it quite coincidental that the ONLY TWO PEOPLE who have a problem with Scott on this forum is Mathew and his pal Shorty.

Unless this shared experience is how you guys became friends...listen, I'm not saying it's sushi, not yet anyway, but it sure is interesting.

I sent my Tad to be refinished (within 6 months of being new). It was okay, and like it was when new.

But trust me, if I EVER get it done again, it will be by Scot at Proficient.

I check most msg boards so dont' flatter yourself by thinking you're being stalked. Believe me when I tell you that life on the forums without you is much better.

A) Glad to hear you found someone to marry you. Quite impressive considering your mentality

B) That's interesting because it's my understanding that your wife is quite large.

C) This coming from an alcoholic that if he could shut his trap long enough, might actually have friends and not be so disliked.

I know who he is.

I only did that because you tried to get personal with me. The only thing I've ever done is point out the things that you do to push people's buttons... You say you honestly don't know what you do. I've told you time & time again. I never tried to get personal with you and pick on you because you're an alcoholic (I've told you once and I'll say it again, my references to drinking are merely a schtick, a joke, something fun to joke about. I do not have alcohol in my house & I actually rarely drink) I also never picked on your disability (I've NEVER in my life picked on someone for a disability or for being overweight. I was the one in school that stood up for the people that were picked on) But yet you got personal about my weight.

Stick to the issues that happen on the board as I do with you, and there's no need to get personal.

I am NOT an alcholic...I have been 16 months without a DROP. Can you say that? I picked on you about your weight because you kept going there with me...stalking me on other boards and continually dragging me into threads when I was NOT EVEN POSTING FOR DAYS! Hell Marissa even said it one time how you always have a beer in your hand every picture I see of you on the net...and it's true Timbers.

Now I am gonna ask 1 more time...how did you find "Mike"?

Hey Tim,

Don't bother. This guy is a "F"in train wreck and doesn't deserve this much attention. I'm guilty and really enjoyed this past Shorty-less stretch but it's time for others to enjoy him. It's not like his nicey act is going to last(it never does). You know as well I that the tourettes will kick in sooner or later and he will piss off half the board.
