Cue selling question

Hello all
Ive noticed that a few seller are not posting pictures to "protect the buyers investment", I'm not being critical, as people can sell however they choose. but, why? i don't understand why not showing pictures would protect the investment.

Some buyers dont want anyone to know what they own nor how they aquired it.... Some sellers are aware of this. I'm not one of those buyers.
 
Always thought it was weird myself. I look at it as protection - if I have a cue that has been seen on here - I can guarantee that somebody on here has pics AND remembers that I am the owner. Azers look out for eachother and that gives me a lite extra piece of mind.

Its not like the MAJOR collectors are being secret - you're gonna get robbed or not, no matter how many pics are deleted.

I have 4 Gus Szam blanks(kinda) at a shop that every one of you know about with a little research. I'd feel much better if the pics were posted so there would be a record. I feel damn near all cuemakers would return them knowing the history and knowing they will not be hidden away after they are finished.

I wish youda posted pics of all those Searings you "had"...:smile:
 
Also, sometimes pics are deleted after the sale even if they were posted originally.

And the asking price is most often deleted after the sale.

I think a lot of sellers do it automatically as a courtesy in case the buyer cares.

I believe it is done to protect the flippers!

Those guys who buy low and sell high!

I despise flippers and what they do!

The information is useful for shopping and comparing your purchasing options!

The people who engage in this cover up of the pictures and prices are saying f you to the legitimate buyers and throwing a bone to flippers.

Just my opinion!
