Jim you are to young to retire! What, you like fishing better than building cues!

try a few days off, maybe a little exercise,if you are healthy get back to work you will be hapier. There is plenty of time for lying aroud in the grave.

Don't give your stuff away and regret it later, even if it becomes a hobby ,you will probably enjoy it again

Just a tip, raise your repair charges way up and that should get rid of the dead beats that make your job drugery, raise your prices and make more cues for yourself, improve your product ,but don't expect to lollygag around and find enjoyment for long

I agree with deanoc....raise some prices. You're cues are worth it!
The fish will still be there in the morning, the tables will be open all night, and your cues can still support both!
Slow down, take a few days here and there to relax, and work at your own pace. There's a ton of cuemakers that do the same thing. I think it's expected or something.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Phinmole.

For all of you in AZ land.

PLEASE understand! I will offer one helluva deal to someone who wants to buy my entire shop and stock, but I am not interested in selling piece meal. My lathes are single purpose and together, with the rest of the equipment, form a COMPLETE shop.

Please refrain from asking about SOME pieces of equipment or SOME of the stock.

Also, I will not discuss price on the open forum, but will be happy to do so in a private phone discussion. 318-294-4566 Monday thru Friday at 8 AM - 3 PM and Saturday form 8 AM - Noon. All times are Central Time Zone.

Those of you who have requested more information, please be patient

The best of luck and happiness to you in your retirement, sir. I have a friend who plays with one of your cues, ebony with lots of ivory, that he bought used for a song. He got a magnificent playing cue that looks like a million bucks! Good luck!
