Cue tip on shaft seems to be loose/space between it.

Any way of fixing this other than buying/installing a new tip?

What are some nicer tips if I have to buy another one, thanks.

Can you post pictures of why you think it has "space"?

As for "Are there any nicer tips?" what tip is it now (if you know).
If you don't know what kind of tip it is, tell us a little about your playing style and skill level. There are at least a hundred choices in tips, if not two hundred.

Yeah, I'll upload a picture. As for the current tip, I have no clue. Just bought it actually, and just now noticed what I believe is a loose tip.

I am a pretty novice player. I like to play cue control, well work on it as I don't quite have it down just yet :-p.

Also, I am trying to identify a Viking cue, not sure if you or some one else around here could help.

I told him in a PM what I think, you guys chime in as well.

Well it's tough to see from the pic because the camera is focused on the background instead of the shaft...... To me it looks like a ferrule less shaft if it wasn't properly faced I can see it happening

Lol
That's a hand job
Tenon is poking through the ferrule...

Hard to tell but it also might be that the end the ferrule was been rounded off before the tip was glued on................ all hand jobs are not necessarily bad...... LOL

Ya, I just picked it up, I didn't have it installed, or do it my self! Going to get it replaced today, actually.

I also really really hope it still has the ferrule, as it is a predator 314 shaft, so missing the ferrule sorta would suck. Would have to send it into Predator.
