I have been out of pool for 13 plus years. I am getting back into it. Found this Mason in my case. Only has 10 hours or so of play on one of the shafts. It is a John Davis blank, Brazilian Rosewood Titleist Hoppe style. Like new. Mason gave a great description of it around April of 2010. Some white is natural. I hope to get a realistic value. Plays great.

It is also on this website with a better description. If someone with computer skills can post the link, much appreciated.

Masonh out of Tennessee and worked in Alex Bricks shop. Also, on here and will correct me if I am wrong. Currently not making cues.

To me, not knowing anything about Mason cues, but looking at the woods, construction (Davis pedigree) , style, condition, I would think $900 to $1400 range.

Masonh is a poster here, was at one point a source for pretty desirable old school micarta.

OP maybe you can DM him and ask for replacement value and use that a start?

Thats a really nice looking cue btw.

nice cue unknown maker. maker may never be determined.

600 bucks tops as a used cue. my favorite style of cue.

it hasnt been established as i saw it. and any used cue is worth less than half of a new cue unless its a famous maker.

so then what would a nice cue like this sell for from an unknown maker brand new. and even from masonh is it was made now brand new.

adding ive never heard of masonh as a famous cuemaker. if so i am wrong on the price and it should be higher.

so i guess it is a masonh cue from the looks and the pics. still hasnt been verified and of course that is needed to get full value from most paying an inflated price based on the maker over an identical cue, if you found one from an unknown. that is just the way it is.

so what would that cue sell for brand new. not special order as special order, doesnt apply to used cues.
800 bucks? more? 1200?
