Cue wood identification

Good Luck. I've been in the business for over 50 years working with wood and many of the woods we use are beast identified by their smell because they can look like other species. Purpleheart is easy as are the figured maples.

Try a google search of exotic hardwoods and look at pictures posted by some dealers such as Hearne hardwoods. It will be a good start.
