My first post in years!!
I was wondering: I was at Valley Forge this year and saw at the Predator booth a device that consisted of two little blocks containing lasers. Each block went on either side of the table, so that it created two beams about 10 inches apart going across the table. The idea is that there is a timing device that can measure the time taken for the cueball to break each beam, and since you know the distance between them it can calculate the speed of the cueball. It is a much more accurate system than a radar gun (I think?). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows where a rig like this could be purchased (or built?). Thanks for any info.
