May not be everyone's cup of tea, but I really like the look of those tables.

They played great too. Like Gold Crowns. Even Jason and Darren said they played like GC’s on the final match.

Great to see the good folks from Mad Apple in Appleton Wisconsin doing the streaming. They have free streaming with commentary from their place most every week of at least four different matches. There is a King of the hill on Friday nights, a Queens match on Sunday morning, a Jesters match following that with a fargo limit of 500, and a Nights match after that with a fargo 500-600. They have many other leagues there, and other weekly tournaments. Also most importantly they support and help with and mentor youth pool. Also have a pro shop on site.
One other thing is that they have great food there.

I think they would look better with a different color of cloth. Gray is too close to the rail color for me.

If Neuhausen plays like that in the US Open he’s gotta be a favorite to win it. Near perfect pool from the 19 year old the last two days.

imo, moritz is more level headed than filler. it will be interesting to see what heights he can reach. i strongly recommend this interview from last week:

his outlook on the game is remarkable for being so young. compare that with guys like grabe or sanjin. i see a lot more potential in moritz because he has a more collected approach. very zen like, not dwelling on mistakes. reminds me of the old filipino champions and ralf souquet

Yup, it's a super-tough field. I'm heading to Connnecticut tomorrow afternoon to check it out.

Well, dang, if I knew you were going to this I would have driven down, my son was trying to get me to go but the spectator fee was a bit more than I wanted to pay. It's less than 2 hrs from my house.

But if I am not mistaken, commentators said only couple are 4 3/8 and most are 4.5

I can confirm all the tables are 4-3/8 and will stay that way when they open back up today. I can't wait to play on them tomorrow night!

I played a bit after the event but I had my fair share of tequila so I can't provide a very good review of them just yet.
