1) Mottey (White)
2) Hercek
3) Schick
4) Ron Haley
5) Bob Manzino
6) Pete Tascarella Sr.
7) Dennis Searing
8) Ernie Gutierrez
9) Ernie Martinez (that would be an incredible read but good luck getting that one!)
10) John Showman
11) David Paul Kersenbrock (The only reason he is down here on the list is because while the read may be extremely interesting if approached the right way, the subject is also a little touchy.)
12) Tad Kohara
13) Eric Marryman (Last name might be wrong - Sugartree Custom cues! Excellent story there!)
That's it. While some of the other cuemakers that have been mentioned already may be good cuemakers, they are not quite at this level just yet.

I remember Steve Mayhew did a bunch, then their is yours, that would make a nice compilation of articles for a read. I know alot of the names have already been covered.

Since this is the gallery forum, I figured this might be the best place to ask. If there was one cuemaker you'd like to see an article about, who would it be and why?

I'd suspect a cuemaker would notice at least a slight increase in business after being featured. Perhaps he knows this and really is not at a point in his life, where he wants a lot of added work. He could also just be very generous and throwing bones to the newer guys, by declining. No matter what his motive, I can respect it. I would love to read such a feature though.Cornerman said:Bill Schick (one of the friendliest guys on the planet) also declined saying that he'd rather that I do the articles on the younger guys. Maybe he'll change his mind, cuz I'd love to put his story on paper. He's influenced so many cuemakers. Many of the articles already have his name in there because of his influence.
