Cuemaker wont ship my cue

I happened to order a new scale early in the week as well. I checked the weight compared to the shipping info weight. They are both the same. No cue was boxed with the shipment.
i can ship you a feather and make the weight 10 pounds if i want

if using usps click & ship, i enter weight of package

does the label say "click & ship" on it anywhere??

not sure which day but, yep, the work he did for me was perfect.

so, apparently, the ability to do great work is there, just maybe not the commitment to consistently do it.

I've had plenty of experience with Klapp 1st hand, and I'll never own another one of his cues.. I guess expectations on this board can vary tremendously..

don't throw away the box.

And maybe bring it with labels intact to your postmaster so he can document that the empty box weighs exactly what the ship label states. And ask about pursuing mail fraud charges.

Curious what the weight of it is. Is the weight even heavy enough to accommodate for a cue?

X2 on this one.

Grant, this is all good advice, but I hope you'll let me continue to run QB on this.

It was definitely an empty box sent to him, weight is the same on the receipt as reality. Steve loaded it with a PVC pipe that jumped the weight up.

I'm getting this handled myself, through a personal offer or legal process today. There will not be a long negotiation process here. A few nice guys have been hosed badly the last couple months and I'm getting them all straight right away.

I made the recommendation to Grant on Steve's ability to do a simple repair so I'm assuming the responsibility to get his cue back, to the best of my ability.

Please, future keyboard attorneys, do not derail this, Grant and several others will be quite satisfied in short order.

dale;

if you're inference is that I don't know what good work is, pls stop being a dick.

The man keeps screwing up but the work I received from him was top notch.

No ambiguity.

I also stated that it's obvious despite his apparent ability to do good work based on my first hand experience, he doesn't seem to do so consistently.

How did this have you quoting me and commenting that you guess "expectations on this board can vary tremendously"?

Please follow what's being said more closely.

Because he's the worst offender when cuemakers say "I can't stand this type of customer"

Ultimate snob, even his friends say not to do business with him. El oh el

His work sucks.. I gave him several opportunities to get it right, and he failed..
His work is terrible, and he'll give you a lot of empty promises..

If you want to talk smack why don't you back it up with some facts..
Who are these cue builders and so called Friends..
I have a handful of stories that can be aired out on my end..

I have 144 reasons why I'm good action on cue deals..
Why don't you read my i-traders..
I've been on this board for close to 10 years, and never F()@K$# anybody, and my word is solid..

You been here 3 years, and your talking $#!T, and I don't believe we've ever completed a cue deal..

My opinion is you should find another knitting circle, or group of hens to hang out with..

Please Tell Steve that Randy Hatten in Charlotte NC needs to get his money/cue as well Like Last year ... My number is 704-572-6384. He won't answer his number 309-361-7162.

Looking to be "Quite Satisfied"...

I don't know what you're owed, but I'll mention it. PM me details.

If "it was definitely an empty box sent to him" and "a few nice guys have been hosed badly the last couple months" then the ideal conclusion would be for people to get their cues and money back, and for that complete piece of human garbage to end up sitting in a jail cell.

I suppose I could have done things differently but I have never been in a position like this so I hate to be a complete A-hole over something that I felt was quite simple. Oh well. The cuemaker I had worked with was Steve Klapp.
Im not coming on AZ to say hes a bad guy, Quite the oposite while on the phone he was nothing but nice......

Still feel this way?

Still feel this way?

I do not.
Steve wont take any calls. I am checking with the police today to see what steps I need to take and if its going to be worth while.

He sent me an empty box. I have a copy of the shipping receipt which showed the weight of the package when it was dropped off at the post office. I weighed the package to see if the cue was stolen or not . The weight of the empty package was identical to the shipping weight. No cue was sent.

you may have to push it some as the police like to pass the buck and say it is a civil matter.

this is clearly not once he sends the empty box.

I spoke to Steve once about a year or so ago, he sounded like an older fellow. Is there any chance this can be attributed to symptoms of a person getting older and maybe forgetting some things that were once routine?
I don't suppose the package he shipped was insured?

He shipped an empty package on purpose, then disappeared and no one in town has seen him, as they all tell me.
