It would be cool if all entrants had to put a cue in the pot, that they made, and winner takes all of them.

That might be cool. But seeing these children continue to get help is the main goal of the tournament. We have had cuemakers donate their entry even though they are not sure they can play. We have some great guys in the cue industry.

**Open to all active recognized Cuemakers.**

does this mean bill stroud is not invited?
Bill has retired from cuemaking. So he would not be considered active, nor would Mike Sigel and a few other retired ones. It does not matter as Bill is going to play in a bar table tournament elsewhere during that time.
On the other hand Bobby Hunter and Shawn Putnam are both active and welcome to play. So we are not excluding any champions if they are active cuemakers.

People have been asking about scheduling conflicts as some are playing in other events at the Expo. The starting times will be posted and 15 minutes late will be a forfeit. We won't be able to move matches around as we only have two tables and will have to keep this thing moving right along to finish on time Saturday evening.
The only exception to this I can think of would be if all four players came to me early and asked for their two match times to be traded.
So it will be up to the players to decide which match they will forfeit if they have an unresolvable schedule conflict.

Jerseybill has offered to pay the entry fee for one qualified cue maker that can't afford to play, but would like to. If you are a cuemaker member of the ACA or ICA or in the Blue Book of Pool Cues you are qualified. Others are considered on a case by case basis.
I would encourage everyone who is building cues and have brought their cues up to a level that qualifies for membership in the ACA or ICA to join one of the associations that best matches your needs and goals. Then come out next year and support our cuemakers tournament. As Jerry McWhorter said to me at the ICCS show. "I am glad to have something to do to break the boredom." Those visiting probably don't get bored, but those displaying certainly do at times.

We are heading into the last week to be able to sign up.
If you want to play let us know right away. We have already raised about $500 for the Childrens Home. Let's play some pool, have some fun and help these kids.

Richard Harris has got some game, I wonder if he's available. Saw him at red shoes last year, very sporty.

We now have 16 signed up. If you want to play I need to know right away or we may close it at 16 players.

Everyone who is playing needs to come by my booth #525 when the show opens Thursday morning. Anyone else want to sign up. I would encourage everyone to join either the ACA or ICA this year so you will be without a doubt qualified to play next year. We have a few ways at present to qualify:
Already be a cuemaker member of the ACA or ICA or be listed as a cuemaker in the Blue Book of Pool Cues. The other way is a case by case basis. For instance we have allowed former members of the associations to play. We want the cuemakers to be recognized cuemakers.
