I second the motion,he was around a few years ago trying to scam everyone on ebay.

I e-mailed back and forth a few times with him about an old Palmer salemens case. He told me he only deals in person out of his house, doesn't do anything through the mail.

he has about 6 aliases.

i know em all.

he lives about 1 1/2 hours away from me.

he claims to have introduced gus to balabushka. (BS)

check out queperfect's web site. they have like 4 pages of bad stuff to say about him.

THIS GUY IS A SCUMBAB. I'M STILL WAITING TO MAKE THE TRIP UP TO HIM AND TAKE OUT SOME FRUSTRATION.

HE GOES BY CC WHEELER, CHUCK WHEELER, CHUCK TAYLOR, AND I KNOW THERE IS MORE BUT I DON'T REMEMBER THEM. I STILL HAVE HIS ADDRESS THOUGH, AND I DON'T EVER FORGET WHEN SOMEONE SCREWS ME.

LONG STORY SHORT, HE SCAMMED ME. HE SENT ME A CUE THAT HE SAID WAS A BALABUSHKA. IT WAS SUCH A BAD KNOCK OFF THAT I KNEW IT WASN'T BEFORE I HAD IT ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE CASE. I SENT IT TO RICHARD BLACK, AND HE ACTUALLY LAUGHED AT IT.

STAY AWAY!!!!!

Here is the blurb regarding Chuck on queperfect's site (under a photo in the 'Shooter Line" section):

'Shooter 02-08 Stolen by a man claiming to be Chuck Taylor, the American Cue Museum! By the middle of 2004 this man was using the name of Howard Wear, coming out of Nashville, Tennessee. He is smooth sounding like your long lost brother and keeps on saying, "The check is in the mail."'
 
We told him that if he was legit, we'd buy everything he's got. Just one caveat, though, we'd have to see it first. Well, that was several years ago and nothing yet. :) Do yourselves a favor and block his email address.

Wow! A couple of years ago, he emailed me all the time. Wanted to get my Szamboti ( 1 of last 10 made by Gus) . Good thing I never dealt with that clown. He loves to lay the BS on THICK!!!

I'd love to know the story on this guy. He's supposed to be from Fitchburg/Leomninster, MA. That's where I'm from! And I never heard of him and don't know a single person in my area that knows him.
