Hey everyone a lot has happened over the last few years with family, friends of family, and friends that has led me to believe that life is way way to short to not show our support to others.
That is why I have created Cues for a Cause. An organization that will throw benefits/ tournaments in pool halls that will have us, and raise money for various charities. As we are still in the planning stages of this venture the charities are still up in the air for now but we do have a list to choose from and they are very worthwhile causes.
The first event will be held in NY date to be determined but it will be a sight to behold. As there is a lot of pool and billiard talent located in our own back yard we will be drawing from that to inspire others to take part and take notice that the billiard community is no longer going to sit back and watch our world, our families, and our friends suffer.
Now i know that a lot of you here on AZ and in your own personal lives do a lot of charity so believe Im not calling anyone out lol. All i am doing is trying to raise some extra money for charities in the area and around the country.
To give a slight bit of background my family's company and my personal company have worked on raising funds for a number of years through various events we have given our services too and through some of these contacts we will build our first NY event to a max capacity event. I would like to not just do this in NY but all over the place and welcome any and all insights.
There are various ways to help and as we get closer to our event date(s) more will revealed and explained.
I hope this works out because I know there are a lot of very worthwhile organizations that could use the help and in all honesty it is a win win situation for the pool world as well getting some good press for doing a good thing.
When asked NYC Grind's and Kiss of Death's very own Alison Fischer said that if she won the event she would most likely give her winnings to a children's cancer center.
This is the exact kind of motivation we need folks.

PS --- Unlike with my personal cues any cues or pool related items will not be back on the wanted for sale section in a matter of days. lol lol) I figured if im going to do this i might as well take a few jabs at myself in the process.
