We are currently undecided for a fifth and are taking suggestions at this time.

Hey everyone a little while back I posted about doing something for the good of the pool community and the good of some great charities.

I would like to personally thank David Sapolis aka Blackjack for his idea of the ten thousand ball run. It has been slightly modified of course to fit our needs.

We are going to do a ten thousand ball run in blocks of one hundred. I am going to try to get professional players, celebrities, friends and families to block off some time to run 100 balls each for our incredible charities.

This leaves one hundred blocks to fill. Whatever blocks are not filled I will be personally shooting for.

It is at this time that I call on the NY billiard community and billiard community around the country and world to make this happen. Ok i know the world comment is a stretch but Im trying to do something and might as well try and do it big lol.

That being said I would like to point out that all donations of course are full tax write offs and checks will be made payable to the charity of your choosing from our list. In no way shape or form am i making a dollar off of any of this.

We are now taking donations as well of billiard related items from case and cue maker or anyone interested for our super silent auction and raffle to be held at our event. A full listing of items will go up on the forums in the wanted for sale section for anyone who would like to bid via pm there will be someone manning the computer we have at the event the whole night to take internet bids with FREE SHIPPING. Again all proceeds are going to our incredible charities.

I know we have it in us to do this. I know we can make this happen and in the process hopefully have some great fun and do some great work for some great causes.

Hit me up now to be a part of this incredible event!!!!

A little more information about the time and place might be helpful.

I think this is a great idea. Best of luck.

I think this is a great way to help charities and to show the sport of pool in a positive way. I am glad to help.

I have to say that we are both honored and humbled by Miss Andoni's interest in helping us. She is a shining light in the pool world and has recently taken down a tri state tour stop not to mention her accomplishments out in Vegas this year earning her the cover of Stroke Magazine with her team mates from kiss of death. She is a player representative for Jim Murnak Cue Cases, Cut Throat Sports Apparel and Poison Cues.

Again we thank Miss Andoni for her support as it is very very well appreciated.

If you or anyone you know has any contact or ties with cue and or case makers and can put us in touch with them it would be greatly appreciated as we would love to get a bunch of great items for our silent auction and raffle items.

Let us know Thanks so much for your help.

Anything I can do to help.

Please inform us in the future when you have more details of when, where and who will be there.

Best Regards !

Wow is all i can say

without any details.....as usual. do you expect anyone to buy into this?

Wow Steve. Details are on their way as we are currently trying to secure a location and a date that will coincide with players schedules. As more details become available I will be more than happy to post them.

As for people buying into this I suggest you look above at the posts by Miss Andoni. Or if you feel that strongly about it which you appear to give Mika a quick call or text or email or whatever and ask him.

Thanks for the reply though hope that ten billion dollar collection of yours is doing well and we can persuade you to come down with one of those monsters and shoot a couple of balls for us.

Thanks Steve

I Am very pleased to be a part of this event!

Many of my friends at Liesure time really showed me thier support when i was going through tough times, so whatever i can do to Pay It Forward you can always count me in....

The original post has been updated with more info.!

Perhaps I missed something, but could you elaborate more on the charities this event is being held for. Generally, the charities are what sells the event. The opportunity to do something that you enjoy doing while supporting a good cause is just an added bonus.

This certainly seems to be an interesting concept and I look forward to learning more details in the months to come.

You definitely have a nice location for this event. As part of my previous job, I have made several trips to the Garden City/Hempstead area over the past few years. I would spend a couple of hours at Leisure Time Billiards each and every time I found myself in the area. It is a nice establishment.

I wish you the best of luck in having a successful event. Schedule permitting, I would like to make it out to see it happen.

Right now we will be supporting the following list. With all of the interest that has been generated we are hoping for a head count of at least 150 people at this event. Thanks for the interest and as more details become available they will be posted.

1. St Jude's Children's Hospital
2. Wounded Warrior Project
3. Parkinson's Disease Foundation
4. Forgotten Friends Long Island (animal shelter)

We are currently undecided for a fifth and are taking suggestions at this time.
