Nice Cues reasonable Prices

I have to reduce my cues and raise some Cash.

1-Almost new Predator 5k5. Choice of two shafts a 314-2 or a 314-2 turned down to a 314 first generation. best offer

2- A Charcoal Grey P2 with a 314 shaft (never seen another like it) used but well maintained. best offer

3- Meucci 97-22 with the original two red dot shafts plus a Predator 314 shaft. Great cue used but well taken care of. Does have a Scratch on the butt. $250

I'd like to know that too. Aren't the 314 & 3142 the same diameter? Unless you mean you somehow gave the 3142 more deflection to match the 314 :P
 
Meucci Cue specs

Cue weighs 19.5 oz
I ordered it special with a Black/ Grey Linen wrap. When it was still being made it was offered with a white wrap. ( As far as I can tell this is not being made anymore.)
All Shafts are 12.75mm
It does have Inlays. I'm not sure if thier Ivory
Four points each point has inlays

314/2

When I purchased the 5K5, it came with a 314/2 (second generation shaft)
When I recieved it, I found it to feel thickek 13mm compared to 12.75 for a 314 first generation. The taper was different as well.
I had also ordered a 314/2 shaft to used on my P2.
I didn't feel comfortable with the feel of the 314/2, so I had Mike Webb turn it down.
He knew exactlty what I was talking about.
He made the 314/2 feel and play just like the 314 original.
 
314 original plays better

I've played both and the 314/2 plays different.
According to Mike the taper is different and to me it felt different.
It made a big difference to have it turned down.

There was a time, maybe only a period of time, when the repeatability of the 314-2 spec's wasn't good. I ordered a 314-2, thru a friend that has an account with CueStix, and when I opened it - I could tell just by looking. It was a strong 13mm - measured it, too. Don't know about the taper, but I only hit a few balls with it & could tell we weren't gonna get along (I'd been using pre-cats for years). I swear, if it weren't for the 314-2 decal, I'd almost think I'd errantly been sent a 314 Fat WAY ahead of wide release.

I was starting to wonder if it was me.
The 314/2 I got felt like I was hitting with a house cue. I couldn't get a feel for it.
Once I had it turned down it feels great!
