Cues

I want the butterfly one!

Hi These cues belong to Dymetre in Siberia, I'm helping him get some feed back. I will have a few , better than me , players evaluate them as to hit and construction . The butterfly as of now is supposed to go on Raffle , and the other , I think will be for sale. Have not been told yet. The pictures do not do them justice, they are absolutly beautiful. I will be able to hit a ball tonight for the first time. The butterfly has a flat laminated shaft and a European taper , ought to be very solid hit. The other has a hornbrook shaft , also a European taper , also should be solid. Hope the go well and we can get some more over here . O' Radial pins Butterfly 19.4 oz. pointed cue 17.5 love the feel of that cue , love the looks of both. Somewhere in the 12- $1400 range , I think. Comments welcome, Please. jim

My 2 cents...

I think you need to put one of these in the hands of a average JOE.. I mean, umm.. someone like ME.. so I can compare them to the lower ends out there, you know the 1k and less cues :)

Hi Bud I consider you much above average , and I'm compairing them to the ones I make . Not out of the question, I do want to get some people in other parts of the nation to try these cues. I have Danny (asiasdad) in Portland going to help, Pictures really dodn't do them justice. Taper on shaft questionable, in our style of play. Jim

Jim you are just saying that stuff cause you are a nice guy. :)

But seriously.. it would be a good idea at least for ME.. and others here. I mean, no way I can drop 1200-1400 to try out a cue, but I sure would be willing to lease it for two weeks or something. I mean, if I loose it or it gets broken, you get your 1200, but otherwise a small rental fee? Shrug.. just shooting ideas off the top of my head. And I know that is ONE heck of a risk, but some people here know each other(say, you and me), I would think well enuff to do a deal like that.

But anyway, you could even do like an escrow.. let a third party hold the 1200, send the cue.. and when the cue is returned, you get umm.. whatever and the tester gets whatever back.

Shrug.. having pnemonia and all these drugs in me are really making me quite chatty. LOL.. Sorry..

I cannot WAIT to at least see these cues!

Dmitry Komarov is a very good cue maker

Felix you bring up some very good ideas. I took these cues out tonight and tried them out, I put them in the hands of some very goos players. I have owned 8-10 Schons, Phillippi's, Gilberts, Adams, Helmstetters, Meuccis, Vikings, Custom by Fincher, and cues I make myself, and these cues of Dmitry will shoot with the best of them. I was worried about tips, ferrels, taper of shafts , noises when hitting ball, balance , just over all feel, and I and nobody that shot with these cues had anything to say except, how much and can I have that one. Everyone loved the cues. They are orriginal in so many ways. Hornbrook shaft on one , flat laminated on the other, absolutly super cues. Thanks to Dmitry for trusting me , and letting me get them into the hands of some U.S. players. Jim

You won't be disappointed. Dmitry makes some excellent cues!

If you want to see another example, just look at my signature.
