I am looking to get a motorcycle soon and will be looking for the best way to deal with my cues while riding to the poolhall. Any suggestions on cases with dual straps or any other ideas are appreciated.

I currently have a 3X5 instroke case, but its a little heavy and I dont know that I would want it hanging on my back. Dont exactly want bug splatter on an instroke case :D

It would help a lot if you also share the info about that motorcycle you're about to buy. With some bikes it's much easier to figure out something than with some others.

Get a cheaper case. I have a J+J that works fine on my motorcycle. I dont travel outside of town so I'm not riding very fast which helps. If you're gettin a cruiser/bagger, you could strap it onto something. Or you could strap it to your rear seat bar ontop of the fender. If your gettin a sport bike yer kinda screwed as there isnt much besides motor on those things.

I have an Instroke 2X4 and I use a spider web looking bungee thing attached to the top shock bolt and the turn signal brackets on my '06 Lowrider. I also have a soft case for my sneaky pete that fits between the windshield and handlebars without any straps. I am about to put on a sissy bar and luggage rack so it should take even less effort and be a little more secure, although I've tested both into the triple digits:eek: Have a good one.

Shag_fu just said some of those things why it would be nice to know about that bike. I prefer not to connect the case with you, because of bigger risk of injuries if having an accident.

With many bikes you can easily find a good and solid solution to put that case in your bike. So just give some details and you'll get an answer.

i just use a simple 1x1 case with a single back strap. it works fine. just make sure the strap is tight enof so it doesnt flop around. and it kinda looks cool riding with a cue, from the right angle it looks like your carrying a sword ha.

I do the same thing

I use a cheap case slung over my back when I take the motorcycle to the poolroom. The samurai warrior effect gets some looks from the cars in traffic though.

I am quite interested in this thread, as I have been working on a few motorcycle-related product ideas for the last several years now. I have the cue case idea almost worked completely out, but do not wish to disclose until I hear back from a patent lawyer. Suffice to say, it will be a safe way to carry your cues, for both yourself and the bike!

I looked at a Suzuki Maurader tonight, its similar to http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/suzuki_vz_800_marauder_1998.php

I want a cruser, my last bike was a speed bike and I dont think I need to go there again LOL. Didnt have any problems on it, just dont think I need to go that fast anymore!

Thanks for any help you all can give. I need to be able to carry at least two cues, although seems like anymore I only need one since everyone is finally playing one pocket :D

So you want to Ride a Donor Cycle. Hope you have a Lots of Life Insurance. Hope you WEAR a Helmet Always, hope you CHANGE your Mind...

Ok, for a bike like that one very good option is to attach your cue case in front of your handlebar risers, depending of course what type that handlebar is and is there space enough to use risers like that. That way, so being on top of your front lamp and attached to risers it's solid and easy to carry with you. That actually is the place where i always put my sleepingbag when being on the road.

i would never give up my bike.. :)

anyways.. i have a cheaper case that i like to use when i use the bike.. i just put the strap over one shoulder and across the chest so the case is centered on your back..

I said those words many time until my last ACCIDENT, it involved a Young Lady in a White Honda who turn Left into my PATH.

I am Trained in Motorcycle Riding, at LEO Level. I did all the Right thing to AVOID HITTING her Car. I Locked up both Brakes, and Should have Stopped before Impact.

But there was Gravel in the Road, and My Harley went into a SKID LEFT I could not recover from, as I could no release to BRAKES.

When the Harley came to rest, i was under the Bike, Alive, and well. But PINNED to the Ground, with NO WAY to Life the Bike of me or Crawl out from under it.

Best pert of the Experience was it was 110+ Degrees, the Tank was Leaking Gas, and I tough I was GOING TO DIE IN A FIRE ignited by Engine Heat and a Trickle of Gas hitting the Engine from a Gas Tank with hole in it.

I was LUCKY as a Good Samaritan stopped, and helped me out from under the Bike, ASSISTING LIFTING IT OFF ME. The guy to this day SAVED MY LIFE, I said thanks, and he vanished back to his Car that was Blocking Traffic. I could not identify my Guardian angle.

Six month Later I had a Close Call again, did not go down, and Sold the BIKE...

i hear you completley.. i just love the bike.. the friends i made from having it and everything that goes along with it.. its just awesome..

i have had several accidents.. some minor some major.. some completly just freak things...

my major was , i was riding with somebody back in 1997 when i got my first bike.. i dont remember what exactly happened, but i remember everthing from before right up to the road i turned onto and then when the paramedics woke me up on side of the road.. apparently, the other guy i was with hit my bike and caused me to veer off the road in a downhill, left hand turn, i went off the right side of the road along the guard rail, and when my bike when with the rail, my leg got caught between them and when i flew of the bike, i got stuck on it.. the top edge of the rail cut through my leg like a jagged knife.. right across above my knee.. through the skin, through the muscle , through the bone.. another inch, it would have taken my leg completley off.. it still gives me alot of trouble.. i have a rod in it now.. and i gained weight so latley its been really bothering me.. got a doctors app end of themonth, anyways.. i was lucky.. all the stuff that controls your foot and lower leg, aterys and such.. such as the femeral attery, are all in the back of your leg and was hairs away from the wound.. my leg just hung there.. funny thing was..

THIS IS WHERE THE STORY GETS INTERESTING!!!
funny thing was, first guy to stop was an off duty paramedic from out of state.. before the regular paramedics got there which wasnt far away, he had me off the guard rail, had the wound dressed (best he could do anyways) had my leg splinted and had the helicopter life flight called.. the state police told my parents that not to knock our paramedics, but they could have learned alot from this guy.. he saved my life..
anways...
he splinted my leg with a pool cue and a case.. i still have the cue case somewhere.. i never got to see the cue.. it must have been a sign..lol..
i also had some minor spills and thrills.. but still would not ever make me give them up.. then again i am a single person and when its time for a family.. i will probably, well.. most deffinatly rethink things.. but for now.. 30 years old and having the time of my life!! :)
