Someone I know recently flew from Columbus, OH. to Richmond Va. She said several guys were carrying cues on the plane. Has TSA changed their policy to let us carry our cues with us now? I am flying to Tunica in July and would like to take my cues with me on the plane. If anyone knows the answer, please let me know.

Looks like you cannot carry on a cattle prod either.
But you can carry on ice skates and screwdrivers.

Yes..I stand corrected, she saw them carrying cue cases onto the plane. It was my wife.
No cues in carry on....
How ever... I got a big suit case and put my cue in it. It just fit corner to corner. The ***** at the check in counter got out a tape measure and measured my bag....

We check our cues in a large cue case in a suitcase, and carry on the empty individual cue cases.
Not to mention I purposly carried on a wooden cane to see what would be said......no problem with that......guess the ADA has some pull when it comes to possible 30" pieces of wood being carried on a plane.

I won a regional tourny that Miller Beer threw back in 85--that sent me to Dallas for the finals--carried my cue on the plane in the Fellini case--no problem. Now when I arrived at the Hylton, in Dallas, I had a problem--Seemed President Ronald Regan was staying there at the same time--don't know how many times those secrect service gents checked my cue case over that week--LOL to this day

Just read the list...no "Jellin'" insoles allowed either. I have a friend who was a pilot for American, now retired. Former F-111 pilot, with clearance to carry nukes. He was one of the pilots who had a pistol in the cockpit.
BUT...could not carry a little (2" main blade) "gentleman's" knife I gave him.

TSA IMHO stands for the stupidest americans. I heard not once, but twice they confiscated these dangerous metal objects, from a war veteran. No doubt his military training makes him a lethal weapon rivally Chuck Norris in the eyes of the TSA.
