Cues shipping from US to Canada?

Looking at Art Cantando cue and it is listed as having Ivory ferrules and rings. My question is would this cause problems getting it shipped across the border? What's the laws on this?

Also this cue has a unilock joint, would that be original?

Thanks

The odds of getting caught are much higher when international boundaries are crossed.
State to state shipping within CONUS is very different than from country to country. You
are underwriting the purchase by advancing payment before the cue arrives and it may not.

Thanks. It's a raffle cue I already have a ticket on. It's a slim chance I win. If I do I'll see if I can get a cash value or something else instead. I didn't think about the Ivory until afterwards.

You will likely never get the cue…..you can’t ship ivory out of Canada.

It would be coming into Canada from the US. I'll just ask for cash value or another cue of some sort if I happen to win it or atleast my money back.

It's not worth risk.

Importing ivory into Canada is possible but you have to obtain the proper documents.

TrxR, Howdy;

Just call the folks at Customs and ask them. Pop always said; "If ya got a question, go ask an expert."
Unless someone here is working for Canada's Customs then ya ain't found an expert. AND have them
read the book not from a faulty memory.
