I wouldn't mess with it. Possible trouble is not worth the risk to get a pool cue.Looking at Art Cantando cue and it is listed as having Ivory ferrules and rings. My question is would this cause problems getting it shipped across the border? What's the laws on this?
Also this cue has a unilock joint, would that be original?

It would be coming into Canada from the US. I'll just ask for cash value or another cue of some sort if I happen to win it or atleast my money back.You will likely never get the cue…..you can’t ship ivory out of Canada.
If you win i'll pick it up and send you video of me playing with it.It would be coming into Canada from the US. I'll just ask for cash value or another cue of some sort if I happen to win it or atleast my money back.
It's not worth risk.
Still sounds a little risky.Importing ivory into Canada is possible but you have to obtain the proper documents.
you need an import license to bring in ivory to Canada. called a CITES permit. https://www.canada.ca/en/environmen...ngered-species/permits/application-forms.htmlTrxR, Howdy;
Just call the folks at Customs and ask them. Pop always said; "If ya got a question, go ask an expert."
Unless someone here is working for Canada's Customs then ya ain't found an expert. AND have them
read the book not from a faulty memory.
