So I purchase a Balabushka Titlist about a month ago. It was attic stored for 20 years. When I buy it I swear we were looking at 3 credit cards of lift, now I can get one and 1/2 or less... I have a video of the roll and will roll it again this week to see if it has gotten any better....

Possible or not?

Very possible. Most attics aren't temperature controlled. A regulation in lower humidity or really any significant change in regular temps/humidity will cause movement.

Even just storing it differently can make a difference.

cue movement

It's very possible especially if the finish on the cue is somewhat worn off. Of course, if the cue has been expose to extreme hot and dry and then extreme damp and coldness(not knowing where this attic is located) for twenty years it can have long lasting effects no matter what it is doing now. :) Just my humble opinion.

I had a full splice blank hanging in my shop for a few months and when I got around too working on it, it had a 1/2 inch lift when I rolled it............ I got pissed off and hung it back up.

6 months later I took it down to burn it and it rolled perfectly straight. I immediately bored and cored it. It made a nice SP that is still straight a year later.

Changes in humidity will make wood squirm and move.
