We are passionate about pool!

With a combined history of over 200+ years in the industry - we are CueSports International.

CueSports International owner, Mark Griffin, was voted #5 in the Billiards Digest 2007 Power Poll by 200 industry insiders.

We have held prominent positions within the industry and the sport: BCA Board of Directors, VP of the American Poolplayers Association, Executive Director of Professional Billiards Association, Camel Pro Billiards Tour advisor, and more.

6 of us are BCAPL Master level players

5 of us have directed major state or national events

5 of us have been a retailer in pool equipment and products

3 of us have owned or managed major pool rooms in the U.S.

3 of us collect or have collected cues

2 of us have directed and refereed major professional events

We produce what has been called The Greatest Pool Tournament in the World at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada which in 2009 will celebrate its 33rd year!

We organize and implement the most regarded referee training program in the U.S.

World renowned billiard historian, author, and rules expert, Mike Shamos said about our rule book, Official Rules of the BCA Pool League in an article in Billiards Digest, I have the feeling that because of their logic the BCAPL rules just may become the dominant rules of the game.

In addition to the BCAPL nationals in Las Vegas, we produce the United States Bar Table Championships (USBTC), the Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament, which is the longest continuously running (14 years) independent event in the western section of the U.S. and the new National Championship Series (NCS).

We too are players, family members, lovers of our sport. For pool, for pool players, by pool players and while the name may be new, we are not. That is who we are and this is where we are headed.

Your support is truly appreciated. We just released in a press release last Friday. AZB is in the works getting it up as well as BD. IPmag.com has already posted the list of qualifiers for the NCS National 8-Ball Championship. Below is the list of rooms that have thus far been sanctioned. As more rooms are added, the major national and regional press will be notified as well as posted on all the forums. All rooms will be mailed banners and will have sent to them electronically posters and flyers in which to use to promote their event locally.

There are many more locations planning on hosting qualifiers. The list will grow quickly. Bill S

We are continually talking with and are in process of adding rooms to the NCS 8-Ball National Championship qualifier calendar. The following is in the works:

AZBilliards.com: Is adding the NCS to the Tours and Tournament section, will be adding today the qualifier dates and info.

Billiards Digest, P&B Magazine and InsidePool Magazine will have an NCS section to their respective calenders at the back of each of their publications.

Also, in the works are qualifiers being scheduled in the following states and we should be able to announce soon: CA, AZ, TX, LA, NY, NJ, PA, CT, MO, GA, SC, HA, AK, another FL and another NV, among others.

We should have all the info needed for CSI and the National Championship Series events for California.

Tenative date is the second weekend in November At Hard Times in Sacaramento.

Anything in California? Or are we going to be out of the picture again?

Qualifiers

Cali will definately have qualifiers.

Thanks Tom and everyone at Hard Times in Sacramento. As soon as we have the firm date set up in CA as well as the other states, they will be officially announced.

We developed the NCS with the players, the room owners and the industry as a whole in mind.

This is such a gr8 program, and I'm sure we will have lots of participation! Holly hasn't been at this for long, and is making fantastic strides!
