Cuetec CF Shaft

On Facebook Cuetec says:

Cuetec super slim carbon composite shaft will come with a 21.30mm joint and will be available with different sized screws. This is the list of pin sizes that will be offered:
• 5/16 x 18
• 5/16 x 14
• 3/8 x 10
• 3/8 x 14
• Radial
• Uni-lock
• 3/8 x 11 brass screw

They say no price yet, but available at the end of the year.

I wonder what they mean by "slim" c.f. shaft?

I think I read they will be 12.5 mm which I DO NOT like.

On the other hand, if slim means the taper is gonna be noticeably longer than revo then they may have something.

Put a 30" to 31" shaft with a really long slim taper that starts close to 12mm that is offered in multi pins from factory and Cuetec just may have something if playability is there.

the potential for screw in tips is huge imo, just wondering how this affects end mass and shooting properties

It adds about 1.0 grams to a ferrule with the new mini insert. More interestingly to me , is the way people have the same cue, but change to different tips, how they play totally different with the same setup. Including missing shots, due to either a different amount of spin on the cue ball or it is a different amount of deflection. I don't know.
Also you see people struggle with draw versus, getting too much draw all by changing to a different cue tip.
