Cuetec vs. The Production World

Few people live on a 7 hour draw Mr McGraw.

You weren't supposed to notice that :)
What can I say, even I take a break from this place once in a while.

this was a while back he was shooting with an Meucci SE14 a real nice looking cue he just couldnt play for s#$% it was funny and the other guy had a predator something or another i dunno the point is you play with whats comforatable with you so it doesnt matter if its custom or wal-mart or gold or crap doesnt matter about how much it cost or how clean looking its how you play and function with it or if the pros play with it or not doesnt matter..... only whether it works well and makes you money at times.......

To each his own. I know they sell very many each year so some one must like them. But I, myself, would rather have a sister in a whore house as a Cuetech in my case.

LOL!

Cuetecs are pretty popular over here in the U.K, i've seen quite a lot of people shoot with them, but i think thats mainly due to the lack of availabilty of other cues over here. Personally i hate coated shafts.

> I stood and watched Joe Blackburn work on Earl's cues for over an hour once, and discussed equipment and the normal stuff. At the time,he said he was getting shafts 12 at a time, and sent them or took them to Joe to have them retapered, fiberglass removed, and he said occasionally he has the ferrule changed, and his own tips installed. He was using Triangles at the time, and handpicked a bag of 40 or so out of 10 boxes, claiming the "whiter" looking ones had more "grit" in them. I have heard that he has changed since then to repressed Elk Masters and back to Le Pro's. His CueTec butt may be stock, but I saw with my own eyes his shafts are NOT. Tommy D.

Production or custom doesn't mean shit to me on this one...you're asking the wrong person.

Some years back I witnessed a guy on a beautiful "Customized Harley" trying to blow through a yellow light at around 60 mph and some 85 year old tha  t shouldn't have been behind the wheel of a car trying to make a left turn from the opposite direction and blowing the same yellow light and it wasn't none to pretty. The bike T-Boned the car and went flying about 100 yards down the street and the biker laid in the street with blood coming out of his ears, his mouth, and his ass like it was a faucet as I stood right over him helplessly as he took his last breaths. They came with defibrilators and jolted him but it was too late. No motorcycles for this kid....
BTW...the 85 year old got out of the car wandering around aimlessly, unhurt, trying to figure out what happened.

That is exactly why I gave up my 1955 Pan Head. Seen a guy get run over by a garbage truck. To many nuts on the road these days.
