CueTrack stroke trainer

Some time ago, people had excellent results regarding their stroke using the CueTrack stroke trainer. Unfortunately, this device can't be bought anymore.

It's a shame that (from what I heard) such a great product is out of production. The idea of forcing the cue into a straight line, developing good muscle memory, has always attracted me.

Does anyone know of a similar product still available that basically does the same thing? I don't like the beer bottle drill as it does not prevent the cue going sideway.

Thanks!

Any SPF Instructor would work.

I already had some good instructors Randy. However, my stroke is crooked by doing it wrong for several years. Even though my fundamentals are much better now, the arm muscles won't forget that crooked swing easily. It has become an automatic motion. I want to change that muscle memory by forcing a correct and straight stroke.

Well that's what SPF was developed for. Mother Drill #1 was designed to do just that.

I do not know where to get ahold of the Stroke Trainer. I thought it was an excellent product.

I will keep my eyes open for you.

Also

If you do a search on "Joe Tucker's Stroke Trainer" there are some Youtube videos on how it works.

Make sure you're not gripping the butt too tight just before you make contact. Other than that there are at least a dozen ways to check and correct your stroke free on the net. A mirror and/or a means to video yourself will help too. Johnnyt

It really shows how straight your stroke is and also wrist twist when you shoot with more speed. I love it.

Also, I found it on the originator, Joe Tucker's website and it comes with a training DVD for $14.99.

Hope this helps

I also like the fact that you can shoot balls with it and is closer related to the real game (eg. stroking through a bottle is not).

Some might try to run a rack of 9-ball with this requiring a perfect stroke for every shot, without sidespin.

There is no cheating with this device, right?

It tells the truth

You will be pleased with how much it tells you about your stroke flaws. At least I was.$14.99 is well worth it.

do you just use it at the table or is it a useful practice aid at home?

I DID recently see something like the device in the OP and I am trying to remember where it was and find it Not just for the OP, I think I might want to try it myself. I;ll post, if I find it.

Oop, there it is. Seyberts has a device called the Buddy Hall Cue guide that is along the same lines as the device the OP was looking for. I've never used either device myself so cannot say how similar they are.

The Joe Tucker Stroke Trainer is far superior as along with correcting your stroke you can actually shoot with it.

Thanks. Appreciate it!

I really liked the 3rd eye stroke trainer also. It will defiantly show the flaws in your stroke.
