Thanks for Your Input- CueZilla.com Has a New Design!
Thanks for your patience the last couple months!
CueZilla.com has undergone a concept and design modification! Moving forward, based largely on email feedback about the site, CueZilla.com will be featuring important works of current cuemakers, along with interesting works of the past. Site feedback indicated that viewers loved seeing the cues and reading critiques, but did not like the concept of the cues being classified. So, there will still be expert critiques of the cues, but without a classification of a cue being one thing or another. Instead, the selection process is going to be tighter so that every cue that makes our homepage will be an amazing work. This means there will be fewer cues annually. However, the cues that are chosen will be some of the best of the best.
The Forum is now gone. There wasn't enough activity on the forum to justify keeping it live. However, you can still make comments and have a discussion on each cue submission.
On the right-hand navigation under "The Cues," there is a drop-down menu. There you can choose from any number of cuemakers, whose cues have been featured more than once on the site. All the other cues are under "Other Important Cuemakers." Once a cuemaker has more than one cue featured on the site, his name will be added to the drop-down list. You can also search by keyword, including a cuemaker's name.
Also, we are going to start focusing more on the cue photography. The site has been widened so that we can post large hi-res photos.
We launched the new design with an amazing work from Joel Hercek. The cue's design is inspired by ancient Greek pottery and ceramics. Check it out!
We are building the shortlist of cuemakers that will be featured in the coming year. If you have an opinion about which cuemaker(s) should be featured on CueZilla.com, please email us. If you are a cuemaker and have a cue(s) that you think should be featured on CueZilla.com, please email us. There will be a maximum of 18 cues featured on the homepage annually, so space is limited.
