I know palmers were good back in the day people also like old mcdermotts and meucci cues. What others do people like.

Palmer
Brunswick
Adam
Meucci
McDermott
Joss

and then the customs:
Balabushka
Rambo
Szamboti
Paradise

Define 'vintage'

Pre-60s, Brunswick hands down forever.

After that, their quality dipped and several brands were and are still desirable as already listed

Brunswick, ala the "Willie Hoppe" 2-piece Pro Model with leather wrap. There is not many left, and the prices are climbing for them.

If I could just get my hands on an Albert Pick checkerboard butt cue ...
Better yet, a Rambow Albert Pick...with an ebony spliced shaft...
I Would die a happy man
