Curly Tulipwood???

Shaish, why is Woody Harrelson wasting his time tyring to save them then? LOL
Paper wood.

Thats really a shame these 2 pieces are really nice looking. The only thing I could think of potentially was jump handles but I wasn't even sure it would hold up to that for very long.

Oh well at least I don't have anything wrapped up in them.

On a scale of 1 to 10........Redwood falls in right around a -5 for cue quality wood.

LOL Nearly a year ago...I sent Eric Crisp a board of nice purpleheart...and two 2x2x30" (or so) pieces of curley redwood. The stuff had amazing figure without even being finished. I periodically ask what's become of the wood...and this probably explains why it hasn't turned into handle wood or anything. The purpleheart's been cut however.

I have had a few pieces of curly tulip. It's not uncommon to see "frog's hair" curl figure. It's just so fine that it goes unnoticed. The noticeable curl in tulip I have seen is usually crotch wood or wood cut from where the roots meet the trunk.
