Out of all of the big name bank pool players, who would you consider THE BEST TEACHER ON BANK POOL?

I did a forum search and found lots of names OF GREAT bank pool players but the search didn't turn up anyone's name that teaches banks WELL.

Is there anyone on this forum that has taken one-on-one lessons from any of the bank pool players and can you give me some feedback on the results?

You may PM me if it isn't flattering information as I don't particularly want to out those who cannot teach banks on the forum.

Your input is sincerely appreciated.

IMO, John Brumbeck. Just ask Jason (DCC Bank Pool Champ) Miller.
I was one of 6 players in John's first Bank Pool lessons back in 1998

have you tried freddy the beard?

When my new 3 hr DVD, Banking With The Beard--The Movie hits the theaters, it will counterfeit all that have gone before. After 50 years in the underworld I have no modesty -- or shame.

Are you serious?

There is really going to be a movie?

I thought that the opening song in your dvd was quite nice, probably something that i would like to hear in a pool movie.

What kind of a movie is it?

BRIAN GREGG,just ask the derby bank pool participants.......FREDDY.S books are the bomb and the videos are great also.....

Just kidding

Just kidding about the DVD opening in theaters. But it is a 3hr bank pool instructional DVD that has been nominated for an Oscar (just kidding again).
But that really is the title of the DVD, Banking With The Beard -- The Movie

Brian Gregg is a top-notch, jam-up bank pool player. Not a bad person either.

My DVD preview, pre-order page is now available. Some preview clips will be up soon. Price $49.95. No, it does not cover the shots in my original DVD, but is a visual presentation of my book Banking With The Beard, along with many, many original banking secrets and concepts.

Hey Freddy, I bought both books and the dvd set and it has been a lot of help. If I have questions (via private message) regarding some of the banks, will you answer them?

Freddy is a walking/talking encyclopedia of bank pool knowledge. Those that don't have his books and dvd's will become the victims of those that do.

I've watched Brian Gregg, and he is incredible. I don't know how you could put a price tag on the knowledge that he possesses.

I would also like to add Dan Harriman of Lee's Summit, Missouri to that list. He is a world class player and a world class teacher of the game. I think he won a little bank tournament at DCC a couple of years ago. Danny has an effective, clear, down to earth teaching style that is evident in his 280 ball run DVD. (If you don't have it yet, get it!)

I don't mean this to sound idiotic, but there's this guy that plays here in Massachusetts at my home room. He racks up 9 ball racks and more times than not, banks out 9 balls. I've never seen anything like it. And these are Murray tables, some of the most impossible playing buggars you've ever see. Can't run in off the jaw and can't hit the rail on the way in. And this guy makes 'em clean all the time. I haven't even said hello to the guy. What would I say ? Gee, you do well at banks????

If you can find him

If you can find him (and talk him into a lesson).... Tony Fargo does a pretty good job too. I took a couple of hours of lessons with him and it helped tremendously (i still suck:D ) but he is a treasure trove of knowledge. BTW anyone seen him lately? I'd sure like to talk to him again

Up to a point, yes

As long as the answer doesnt require a couple of diagrams and 4 or 5 paragraphs. Ok.
