Custom Carbide Sanding Mandrels

When you say price per set, do you mean two sizes (sanding and finishing) or do you mean set as in male & female of the same size?

Thanks

Ya know, I've never had a problem with anyone advertising here, even the bigger guys, but It's a dam sad thing to invade another guy's thread to try and undercut him.

BTW John, Nice mandrels, looks like Your guy is doing some nice work for Ya, I'll be in touch as soon as I get some finances straightened out.;)

Tony,
When I put that up I original meant male and female. However depending on the order I can get for carbide it could possibly be for sanding and finishing. My guy is getting back to me on a quote.

I will need a good measurement and exact thread perameters for getting these made. They are one shot in the machine. I get the wrong specs and they don't fit you bought em. So be sure when ordering exactly what you want.

Lee is a hell of a guy :( to do something like that. I will let the product do the talking.
The lowest grade of carbide is 1320 Vickers scale = about A89 Rockwell
A60 Rockwell =234 Vickers.

Hey lee,
What happened to that banner that was going to get down sized?
Thanx, Ron

Trust me, your complaints are falling on deaf ears. The man knows full well the definition of 'in your face advertising'. He may have trouble spelling it but he knows how to use it. 'Banner, what banner ? That's just an extension of my avatar'.

Banner

Lee has been asked several times and even said he would fix it. I think it was "Kelly Guy" who even offered to resize it for him but that was declined.

I guess we're supposed to just shut up and mind our own business.

Rich I need some more info. Actually a lot more info. Call me send me a pm something..

Pricing

OK I have the pricing correct for the mandrels.
450$ plus shipping for one set:
Whatever thread male & female
1 piece sanding
1 piece finishing
Total of 2 mandrels.

I need exact specs O.D. Of the sanding and O.D. of the finishing.
Thread length +/- 0.010", thread pitch, thread diameter, pilot length, Pilot diameter, shoulder length if there is one and shoulder dia. if there is one. We will make them to your specs. I will have an order form up on the site as soon as I can get it drawn up and posted.
Fill it out save it send it to me if I have any questions I will call and any changes will be made. I will fax back a technical drawing or email for that matter and you will sign off on it. This way if the part is not right I AM NOT LIABLE. These are too expensive to eat. This way you get what you want and I get what I want. I will send it back with the changes made you sign off send 1/2 money and we build them. You send other half and I ship them.
There is a 2 week lead time on the carbide itself and a 4 week wait on the custom machine work right now. I need to tell you that up front. I will probably buy the carbide in advance and store it until the time comes for an order. I am looking at getting enough for 5 sets. PM or email me for any more info..
John

I usually try and make up my own mind, giving all the benefit of the doubt. You have to evaluate reported experiences for what they are, but make your own observations. My mind is made up now.

Lee, why do you have to be so combative? For you to respond in that nasty way after YOU barge into Someone elses ad for THEIR product with your own product, is WRONG and NOT acceptible and Then you expect no one to say how rude and 'tacky' that was? If this happened to you, You would have alot of misspelled words to say about it! You cannot claim to be the victim this time, and it has no relationship to "how much you have helped the industry"
Just because you are a paying advertiser doesn't give you the right to step on other member's ad postings, Get your own!!!!
I think it's time for a moderator to finally step in and set a few things straight with you and your total disregard of proper conduct! I have defended you and your product recently in another thread, but that won't happen again, now that your true colors are fully displayed. You Sir,and I use that term VERY loosely, need to learn how to play nicely in the sandbox that we all SHARE, and start respecting other people's ad's or get out and find another sandbox!! As to your avitar...well 2 things, 1- it shows how childish you are, and 2- could be construed as a thinly veiled thr**t which shouldn't be tolerated either.
That's my $2 worth,
Dave
