Hot dang, I just got my shaft. Droped it off at the Super Billiards Expo in 2004. Great job too. I wish I had kept the other crooked shaft. What am I gonna tell a buyer now? Duh! I don't know!!!!! Here is a picture of the joint and matching shaft/shafts. God help em man. Guys, this is a $6,600 pool cue.
Purdman

That is just plain wrong.

ALL good cuemakers run behind. As a matter of fact I've been waiting a couple of weeks just on a quote from a cuemaker from this board (hint to Jack). Just be patient, these guys are trying to make the perfect cue and this ties up a bunch of time.

One month sounds a bit fishy to me though. Most guys run 6 months plus.

While at a recent tournament I commissioned Joe Ezell, a cuemaker in Hattiesburg, MS, to make a cue and he said the exact same thing. I even went so far as to pull out the money and tried to give him $300 right there and he wouldn't take it.
There is a name I haven't heard in a while. I sold him some equipment years ago. He once came out to my place back in Missouri. He is a really nice guy. I bet you will be really happy with your cue.

Ezell

Cyco, I imagine you will be very happy with EZ's cue. Unfortunately the man has a day job that keeps him pretty busy so things take a while, but he is really making some impressive cues lately.

Chris, Joe still uses your deluxe lathe as his traveling repair lathe. He has definitely added some bigger equipment to his shop, but your lathe is still running true and making some $.

Jim, the conference center is close by. You get here and we will play at my home. The crabs should be running good in August, we will have to get down on some of the bad boys. Can't wait. You are welcome anytime. Let me know when you will be in town.

Sounds good to me!!! Crabs and beer -->sounds like the Phillipines, nevermind...

I just got back from the NCC yesterday. I didn't know they had table or I would have brought my cues. I know better next time!

When the time gets closer I shoot you an e-mail.

Good luck on getting your cue fixed.

Hey Don,

Is that Potato Salad next to the corn?

mmmmmmmmmmmm
:D

LOL, great minds must really think alike, cause that's what I noticed too. even better then that looks like southern style, Guess a few of those DC boys know good eatin too :D Atleast Don seems to anyway. I have alttle bit left in the fridge now that looks just like It. Goes great with just about any meal.

Those crabs used to be so thick down here, that you could not even fish, for them robbing the bait all the time. Got expensive with live bait. Have a few buddies that go to the keys each year, and dive for lobster when the season is open, one even owns a place down there. He just went down about a week ago. Man, wish I was there soaking up the rays right now :D

Anyway, Nice spread Don, you only go around once, and looks like you're making the best of it.

Sweet Potatoe Pie????? Your kidding me.

Just hooked up with the crab man. Picking 18 extra large. Getting some potatoe salad, corn, and maybe make a pie. I will let ya know how it comes out.
Purdman :D

Anybody want to buy this shaft? The one with the silver rings. I ain't gonna stop until I get the correct shaft. Funny thing is, this gut sent me an email claiming to be the victim. Go figure. Bad glue, WTF?

Hey Don,

If this were a $250 cue that would be one thing(still not right, but more understandable). But for $6600 I'd tell him to just f*cking fix it and save the excuses. But that's just me
