Custom Cue owners publicly made fun of

Well at least custom cue owners are getting some publicity in the mainstream. By the way, I have not seen any of the new commercials.

I thought about posting this today as well and you beat me to it. They try to make all pool players look like crap IMO.

And then there is the reason for spending money on an overpriced Japanese car. Just throw your money away. You'll lose half the value in the first year.

I thought it was very funny. We need to loosen up and laugh at ourselves once in a while.

The good part is, whether we buy on "excuses" or we buy on "reasons," we all like to have a few "luxuries" in our lives from time to time.

Does anybody know where I can score some good Asian buffalo horn?

Hmm...pool player in marketing? That was funny, it's just a car commercial. Love his one shot he did, definitely a banger.

I see nothing wrong with it at all, other than the actor doesn't know how to shoot pool. Good commercial.

Ha!!!

Well at least they did not make pool players out to look like low life, cheaten, scum bag hustlers!!!!!

wow, painting a "bad" light on poolplayers (custom cue buyers/makers, etc.)....

C'mon, it was funny. Wonder if they have one for golfers (notorius for buying any little thing that they think might help their game **whether a gimmick or not; see "Tin Cup" ** or better yet, make them look like a "player"). LOL

I remember a post, but can't recall right now who it was from, that hyped a SUPER EXPENSIVE chalk....it was done tongue-in-cheek, was funny as all get out, and was done in the same vain as this TV spot. Everyone knows a guy that buys this or that when he thinks it'll elevate his game from running 2 balls in a row sucessfully....and it NEVER does. Lighten up folks :p

SUPER AD!

Most of the general public is not aware that "luxury pool cues" even exist.

We ALL make excuses to buy our favorite pool cue, just like golfers do for their next nanite-infused titanium self-aware driver or stroke-adjusting nano-tech titanium putter.

Golf is in the mainstream and pool cues aren't, which makes the ad work.

I like it!

I believe the commercial was touting Acura's very GOOD depreciation value.....

check a Chevy Malibu that stickered last year fo $28K and is now on the lot with 11K miles on it for $14,995....betcha a 1 year old Acura TL didn't drop that much in value over the same period (% wise). You may have your "values" a bit skewed.
