Just a little advise....I would leave the bidding for auction sites. It is not a very effective way to attract buyers on AZ. It's better to have a price whether it be firm or OBO. Good luck on the sale.

any way of seeing just some pics without loading extra software? always was confused about why someone trying to sell something would make the buyer do extra work to see item.

If the photos are on photobucket, all you have to do is copy and paste the IMG code in your post:

First let start by saying how sorry i am that you'r injurys took a toll on you severe enough, to cause you to stop enjoying a game of pool. That realy sucks.
That is a very rare cue realy, and has quite a bit of collectable value. But i always wonder why a showcase billiards made cue such as that is sold only as an " Ernie " cue? Clay ethridge is the owner of the cue shop that that cue was made in and it sold under his name. But He never seems to be in the picture when they are re- sold? Its a " Showcase cue " made by ernie m. I just feel that it is rather un fair to clay who gave ernie a start, to so quickly dismiss the fact that these are in fact...SHOWCASE CUES.

Good Luck with the sale! it is a very special cue, and those ones are prett hard to find!

Jayman.

I know Clay as well and he is a decent guy and definitely a businessman after his own interests. I have seen a lot of cues that have been made as Showcase cues since Ernie and Gale Clark left, mostly made by his son Mike or their current staff. There is no comparison in the an old "Ernie" made Showcase cue and something that would be called a Showcase cue today. I can completely understand anyone with an "Ernie" made Showcase cue wanting to lose the Showcase namesake to help sell the cue. Try selling a Showcase cue. I think there are some on IndyQs closeout that have been there forever.

Also, unlike many here... a lot of people have never heard of Showcase or Ernie Martinez. I mention Ernie Martinez around the places I have played and they instantly think I am talking about Ernie G.

I have 2-Ernie's from that vintage with the same pin. I have been told that only Ernie used that pin at Showcase, but Gale Clark was also there for a while. I don't know what pin Gale used. I have Ernie Martinez cues from every evolution, and this vintage is definitely up there as far as playability.
