Ok, I'll try to post this without trying to gush too much, but I can't promise you it won't it end up there. Some of you may have read my "THIEVES" post, but for those who have not - http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=1789201#post1789201 this thread is directly related to what happened in that thread.
I went to the mailbox today only to find a package from Jacoby Custom Cues. Knowing that I hadn't ordered anything since the joint protectors named in the thread above, I had a feeling what it was. I opened the package there was another set of JPs and a hand written note saying -
Robb,
Read about what happened to your joint protectors on AZBilliards. We hope this makes you smile! - your friends at Jacoby
This is above and beyond what I'd expect from a cuemaker/company that I had already held in the highest regard. What a nice gesture. There were a few AZBers that PMed me about speaking to Jacoby at the BCA while they were out in Vegas etc. So, if any of you fabulous members were the ones that pointed out the thread to someone at Jacoby, I sincerely thank you as well. If not, thanks once again to the folks at Jacoby for again showing the kind of service that has become all too rare these days to this proud owner of a Jacoby Custom Cue!! You will most certainly be getting more of my business in the future.
And for those of you looking for a beatifully made and affordable cue, please think about how these folks not only stand behind their products, but go out of their way to make owning one of their cues a pleasure (especially if/when you contact the company for anything). I try to post in EVERY thread I can that has a theme of "which cue should I...", and will continue to do so for "my friends" at Jacoby!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
