Cyclops Balls

I'm curious I remember reading one of your threads a few weeks ago asking were to play, said you only been playing on your home table for a very long time. So if that's true when have you ever used a set of these balls? I played with them at Derby City an at bank shot an have never seen a messed up cue ball, have you personal?

No I have not personally. Only saw it on streams and heard many pros ***** about them. Johnnyt

they definitely pick up dirt and crap a lot less than other ball sets i've seen.
my buddy got a set of bonus balls made by aramith and i saw them pick up all sorts of lint and junk from the table from the get go. it took about 6 hours worth of play before his cyclop set started to pick up junk. they are also supposed to take longer to show wear than aramith. there's more phenolic in the mix, i think.
i liked them. i feel like the people that "hate" them will be due to two reasons...1. they haven't hit a ball with them or 2. they just hate any sort of change in the first place.

I don't like the skittles version because I think they are ugly. I also don't like the font used for numbering, frankly I have the same complaint about Super Aramith Pro's, including the coloration on the TV sets.

People just a few posts above you are saying that their cue balls are having odd rolls.

Neither of those reasons for not liking them fit your bill.

We didn't use the cue ball due to the complaints we had heard. The font didn't bug me too much. Reminded me of dunkin donuts font though. Haha.
The skittles colors are different but I felt like I could see the edges better with those colors. I was cutting the ball way better than normal. Everyone said the aramith TV set was hideous to start with too though.
