Cynergy 10.5 also good for Pool-Billard?

but the thing is they don't sell 10.5 in China. I just checked online. They only have 11.8 and 12.5. the 10.5 cues are much rarer in China than the other two
I can find many. Direct through their Taobao, through 3rd party Taobao. Second hand on Xianyu. What platform are you using?

More I think about it, I am also curious about what OP means by can this also be used for pool/billiards? What else would you use it for? Certainly wouldn't be snooker... I can only see Chinese-8 players looking for this particular sizing.

On their Taobao official store, they only sell 11.8 and 12.5. Here is the picture. I also asked the sales rep they said they don't have 10.5

DM me, can link on WeChat and I can point you in the right direction :) (also, hit me up with where you are based if you are living here. Would love more friends to play :) )

You're right about their Taobao store though, just checked again myself. Hold my hand up there! I can definitely find it here though. A physical store I go to often has two of them? Will have to double check it's not some older iteration. Carbon is not my thing. Have you tried Xianyu? A couple of friends are playing with this exact shaft currently. Both are playing almost exclusively Chinese-8. Neither are 'gifted' or sponsored players.

I am generally unsure who they think would buy this shaft beyond Chinese-8 players? No snooker player would really go in on that... Most American pool players have infinite better options (and 10.5 I would argue in my short time playing American table based games isn't really conducive to the cloth, rails or style of American play - I was using my O'min 10.5 Chinese-8 cue for a while on American tables when I first started playing... it made me start playing with house cues... which I am lucky enough to find mostly good ones in my local).

Yeah I can find some on Xianyu. It's just weird that the official store isn't selling them if the point is to have more C8 people buy them.

Maybe they bought them all already? :ROFLMAO:
Lots of marketing decisions in the pool world are interesting to me

i bought one that i could return and have played with it off and on over the last few days ( i asked for a g2 soft tip since thats what i play with on my revo)
i have been playing with a revo 11.8 for more than a year
i like my little pea shooter....:)
it definitely is smaller and the view on the cueball is like a sniper aiming at a target..i like the visual
it sounds softer than the revo
deflection is about the same
action is about the same...maybe the revo is alittle stiffer
fwiw i bought the bull and whyte carbon shafts and returned them because of the higher deflection from the revo
i dont think i will return this cynergy shaft
even if i continue with the revo
this is from playing pool with it
this is an update
today i played terrible with the shaft
i felt the small tip gave me too focused a visual and the thinness of the shaft felt like i was poking the cue ball with my index finger
like poking someone in the chest with your index finger
went back to using the revo 11.8 mm and felt much more comfortable
i plan on returning the 10.5mm cuetec

I understand your thoughts here. I was using a 10.5 O'min cue when I first played Chinese-8, and many Chinese friends still use similar sized, one piece ash cues while playing (very successfully in some cases) But, I am much happier, and much better playing with the 12.2 ILC shaft on my Mezz. This is now my Chinese-8 set-up. A little smaller than the 12.5 or 12.8 shafts I use on the American table (depending on which game I am playing)

The standard pool ball looks enormous with anything under 11 for tip size I feel.
It works in reverse too, when I used my pool cue on the snooker table, my 12.8 feels like cueing with a log :ROFLMAO:

I wonder what 'pool cue' @Poolmanis was using to make his 147?
I have stopped trying to hit century breaks. It's beyond me, and frustrating as all hell to get closer and closer, and feel the pressure (literally from nowhere) bubbling in me. I'm just not built to handle it. I just make do with watching my dad making it look like a stroll in the park...

My 11.75 Z-2 Shaft. It have some deflection on snooker but it is not much more than okay snooker cue and I don´t like how snooker cues are tapered. I don´t hit cueball where i want on normal snooker cue. Some cheap 1-piece maple snooker cues are okay but what i really would like to have on snooker would be thinner snooker cue with pool cue butt and pro tapered shaft, maybe 9,5 carbon fiber or something.
I don´t really play snooker anymore. Just sometimes go and be nuisance to snooker players when we have tournament in our city.(last 3 times i was in final and won once) :D
Snooker purists really hate when i play with pool cue, glove and bank balls in two-way shots.. I enjoy when they mumble "you disrespect opponents by doing that.."

I can't play snooker with anything besides 'my' snooker cue. I tried even with a one piece made for Chinese-8 a few times (10.5) and that felt like a log. I'm curious what spec McGill and the American (El-Sayed I think?) who are using Carbon shafted cues use.
As some one who grew up playing snooker, I enjoy seeing the 'disrespect'. Some people who think they are all that in the club really need it! It's a sport full of so much gatekeeping, judgement and nonsense that it's no wonder a lot of the halls have declining numbers in the UK, and that most snooker clubs are private members only affairs.
Love seeing your dedication and skill across the cuesports. Thanks for sharing!

I was having trouble doing draw shots, often they would look like stop shots. Ive been lining up all the balls down the center of the table and popping them into the side pocket with a bit of backspin , trying to run them all out and using backspin to locate my position for the next and next so on down the line..

I think that has been helping as it just enables me to do a whole bunch of draw shots together in a sequence for a few minutes at a time of solid practice shooting..
Where the lines on the ball are I don' t care much.. its just a learning aid for newbies..
I think its more a matter of just acquiring the right feel for it, then it should be like riding a bicycle, one doesn't really forget how, but it takes about the same effort to to just get your initial "balance" Snooker balls and snooker cues are proportionally smaller so there is a difference in feel from the big 2 1/4" balls.
