Dads long lost custom cue

Ok so first off let me explain about this cue. It belonged to my dad 16 years ago and my info on the cue is very vague so I don't have much hope of every finding it again or if it even exist anymore.

I was 7 when my dad had the cue and my brother was 9-10 so honestly we have to go off of memory of what we remember about it and can't find pictures. The cue is a custom cue that my dad designed and was made by a cue maker the used to be in Jackson Mississippi (or so we remember hearing). The cue looks like a meucci, Grey or grayish blue, 4 white cream color points with diamonds (not actual diamonds) on top of the points, and has a stainless steel joint.

I've looked all over the Internet for this cue and can't find it (obviously a 1 of a kind cue isn't so easy to find). So I thought I'd try asking on here. My hopes aren't too high about finding it but it couldn't hurt to ask. Since just recently the 6 year anniversary of my dads passing came around and I thought I'd give it another try. He had to sell his cue away back then due to circumstances and since then he never picked up a cue again. After 16 years of not playing pool my brother and I started back and have an interest in his old cue. I've played for this past year and have really appreciated my cues I shoot with and feel somewhat like a cue is an extension of the players soul and love for the game. Id love to get the cue back for my brother. I have a friend who is a custom cue maker so I already have a great cue But Id like to get this cue for my brother since my dad and him were much closer to each other with pool.

If I never find this cue then my friend agreed to one day make a replica of it with what we remember about it but obviously that is our last resort bc the real cue is what's special to us. I'm very sorry about the vagueness of this post since I have no picture of the actual cue but I do have a picture of a meucci production cue that resembles it and will post that as a sorta reference to what it looks like.

Again I apologize for the lack of info and pictures but Id hope that maybe something could be said about this cue and its possible whereabouts. If you read all I have typed out then I thank you for your time whether you can help me find the cue or not. :D

Hopefully the image worked on this post bc im new to this forum and its operations.

Sorry I know my initial post was pretty long and probably a little too much.

The cue picture I posted is not the cue I am looking for. The cue im looking for I don't have any pics of being from so long ago. The pic I posted was meant to be a point of reference bc they look similar.

The cue im looking for looks just like this one except has a stainless steel joint, has 4 cream color points with cream color diamonds on top of the points and is grey to blueish-grey. I don't really expect to find it but I got on here in the hopes (slim they may be) that I might track it down. The cue could potentially not exist anymore but I wanted to give a try.

Sorry for the post being so long and confusing especially with the pic down on the bottom making it tougher. I will edit my original post to bold the areas that specify what the cue looks like to make it easier :) thank you for your reply though. That was my mistake for making my post vague and hard to read lol

{Still trying to figure out the Laertes connection, I'm sure it's a good one , I'm just igorant}

Prolly too cute by half on my part:)

Combined the idea of the 'fault is not in our stars' to Brutis
with the famous 'to thine own self be true' advice.

On further review - too much of a stretch for a written phrase.
It might have worked in conversation - if anyone still did that sort of thing.

Dale(who knows if you have to explain a joke it's a flop)

Robert Jones, David Barber, Russ Espiritu, and Mark Moore were\are Mississippi cue makers. I can remember a few more but not their names. Erwin Cues, I think was one more.
