When dale went to ebay the quality of his cues went too.

Why would anyone buy a cue for any price that they don't feel will hold up to breaking the balls with?

I break hard from time to time with every cue I have and I have quite a few. Never had one break anywhere as a result of it.

I bought my DP on ebay about 3.5 years ago. Played an enormous amount of racks/hours with it, with the original shaft and an OB classic. Played and broke with both shafts many times. Had it in and out of the cold and heat in the car, dropped it on the floor many times. And all I have to show for it is a little chip on the corner of the butt. The original shaft is still dead straight too.( not a stage iv or dp-r). Not arguing or standing up for anyone. Just giving my experience with an ebay cue

I would hardly say you lost.....you won as soon as you were outbid and time ran out. :grin:
