One of the best instructors in the country is in the greater Cincinnati area for a visit and will be giving lessons on appointment. If anyone is interested in bringing their game to another level, call me and I'll help you arrange lessons with Danny D.
One of his pupils, Stephan Cohen, recently won the World Straight Pool Tournament and gave a lot of credit for his sucess to Danny. From a local standpoint, Billy Carrelli, (one of the top local players for the last 30 years) stopped by my place when Danny was helping me with my game. Billy later told me that he learned 3 or 4 really good points or shots just from listening to Danny's thought process while we were playing. If someone of Billy's caliber could learn this much from overhearing a half hour or so of Danny playing me, imagine what the average pool player could come away with!

Call asap to set something up.

Sherm,
Just a note in support of Danny's instruction. His straight pool knowledge is unparalleled, as is his knowledge of one pocket. Though almost all one pocket players delude themselves into thinking they know everything about the game, even expert players could REALLY benefit from his insight into the game.

For those wanting an old school view of 14.1 or one pocket, Danny is one of the few surviving masters. I am always concerned that this knowledge will be lost eventually; I am hopeful that the true students of the game, and ESPECIALLY the highly proficient players will seek out his help.

Today I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Diliberto and take a lesson. Easily recommended as a great experience for anyone who may get the opportunity.Danny, I have enjoyed most of your dvd and will watch the rest tomorrow.
Thanks to Sherm for bringing Danny and to Bocca Billiards for providing the space.
Sincerely,
Brian

SJM and I were discussing at the World Straight Pool Championships this very topic. That there is hardly anyone teaching the old knowledge about 14.1. He mentioned some people that could teach it as Hopkins, Rempe, Varner, West and Danny.

Danny did proabably over 30 hours of instruction when he was in Chicago a few weeks ago. He'll be at the US Open next week, so you Ohio players should take this opportunity to learn from a legend.
