Two hundred and eighty balls....so what? Most everyone on here has done that. Oh wait, did you mean without missing and using the last ball as a break out ball. Whew, two completely different things. I guess that is pretty good, then.

NOW THAT"S FUNNY. And I agree...what's the big deal....I got 280 balls in too...it just took me a couple months.

I've always said Danny is one of the best players around, due to his expertise in so many different types of games.

Great run. What was the situation? I mean when, where, what kind of table, that kind of thing. That is a substantial run in my book, hope the footage is made available.

Good job Danny.

Justin,

I am fairly sure Danny accomplished this run at Side Pockets in Lee's Summit, in which case I think it was done on a Gold Crown 4 with average pockets, not buckets and not tripple shimmed sub 4.25 inch pockets either. What a great accomplishment, I think we will start to see much more of this kind of stuff from Danny as I believe he is starting to really come into his own after winning that very hard fought match with John Schmidt on The Action Report. Danny has always been a consistent winner in regional events and has won the bank pool tournament at the Derby and finished high in the final IPT tournament. I look to see him make a run at the all around title at this year's Derby City Classic.

Again, nice run Danny, congratulations! You make Kansas City proud to have a representative as classy and awesome as yourself. Good luck at the Derby.

The Table

The run was played out on my antique brunswick, with K66 rails, 4 3/4" corner pockets, treacherous side pockets, covered in 2 year old 860 simonis tournament blue, using Aramith Super Pros in a basement room with a dehumidifier that runs 24/7 (40-50% humidity).

Awesome Run, Hats off to you Danny for such a sweet run, when the DVD's are available, mark me down for one of them as well :)

Gerry's idea about the commentary is definitely a good one and I too would like to echo that it would definitely be a worthy idea, especially new players just starting to play straight pool in a league and/or event :)

Finally, I would also like to mention that I like your idea BlackJack, as reguards the plaques for John Schmidt, 403 is definitely a high run that is from the straight pool chef's, special recipie book of high runs :D

Congrats once again Danny and keep up the good work :)
