Like many of us with this disease, I have gone through lots of cues, and in
doing so I have sold some I wish I had not, and kept some probably
longer than I needed.

Some of the cues I have today will not be with me next year, however all of
them do meet my qualifications as "a keeper" that I have learned from going
through nearly a gross of cues.

I believe most of us have developed the same set of qualifications
(not including the resale gamble - I buy what I like,
resale gamble be damned)

mine are

a. Excellent feedback...I'm not into trophy wives.
b. The shafts are worthy of being called shafts
c. The design holds up to the test of time rather than
.... 5 years later asking myself what was I thinking ?

This is my current dirty dozen:

( 5 ) Jim Pierce "old schooler" every part from 30+ yr old stock
( 4 ) Mike Lambros Ultra II...4+oz non radial standard shafts...very rare on a Lambros
( 3 ) Paul Mottey...re-wrapped with NOS Cortland #9
( 2 ) Jim Buss 1 of 1 ...both shafts made from that Lake Superior 300 yr old wood
( 1 ) Wes Hunter...next to the Buss, 2 of the finest shafts I've ever seen.
(@) Eric Iorgv....this cue makes the balls have eyes !!
(@) Ernie Martinez/Showcase tru-sneaky..(1989)..money game cue of choice
( 9 ) Dave Barenbrugge...hits as good as it looks
(10) Josh Treadway...certainly a lifetime keeper contender
(11) TAD - big pin...LIfetime keeper without question
(12) Keith Hanssen ...36 points...hits balls like it is possessed
(13) Pechauer Custom Shop...not all production cue companies are equal.

LOVE the Hanssen.

Wish I had the funds when Trav was selling it.

How do you like it? He makes the best playing cue I've tried yet.

My Sugartree is special to me though. Too close to call. I'll probably never like cues more than Erics.

But I'm sure as hell going to keep getting some awesome ones.

REAL excited for my Koo cue and one day... Searing.
 
First off those eyeball cueballs are creepy!!

Second, that is some nice looking cues you have there.

That wes hunter looks to die for and like you said, I bet the shaft wood is excellent. As well as your money game player :thumbup:
 
All of them are sweet. Really like the Mottey and Tad. The Hanssen points are amazing. Like to see it in person.
