Darren Appleton announces his bid to make Team Europe for 2020

I think Darren was more ripped up by the death of his mother this year than his divorce, which I want to say happened in 2017. And yes, he's been back in England for about a year now.

I wasn't aware of either of those events. It's understandable he would be knocked off balance a bit.

His 200 and out against Bustamante a few years ago is the highest run in competition and I suspect will remain so for a long time.
