Darren Appleton

It's actually near the Home and End keys.

Delete is a real button ;)

Yup, I know that -- just trying a little levity. Actually, on my keyboard (on a Sun UltraSparc workstation), the key is labeled "Del" not "Delete". ;)

-Sean <-- tries to steer clear of those pesky Windoze...

I don't know but I'm suspecting there is a little more to this insta-ban than us mere mortals can see.

Hu

I don't know about anyone else, but red flags went up when I saw this thread. Personally, I believe that that the chance of some unknown lurker that follows pool enough that he knows who Darren is and actually watched a pool video, then decides to sign up on this forum just to start a thread badmouthing Darren, are extremely slim.

People don't go from lurker status to create a account and the first post out of the gate is to ream a pro. Sorry, just not the way things work. The guy obviously knows how to start threads and post videos, so he's familiar with this forum to that extent. Doesn't sound like a newbie to me.

I don't fall in the category of people that want to let him slide just because he "apologized". No one is entitled to be a member here, if the first post they make, the subject line is Darren Appleton is a lying cheat or whatever the hell he said.

Think about it.. how many legitimate people here would have went from having no account here, to creating a account and then badmouthing a pro in such a despicable way IN THEIR VERY FIRST POST? Not really sounding like some guy wanting to fit in and maybe make some friends since he's a brand new member.

The whole thing doesn't pass the BS test to me, therefore he deserves to be banned and reamed a new one, because believe me.. he's laughing about the whole thing, especially all the people that are feeling genuinely sorry that people are going off on him because after all.. the poor guy did post a "apology".

Just my opinion... everyone is certainly entitled to their own, I"m just going with my experience and common sense on this one.:)

OP has 5 posts.

Ok????

His first post was the original post to start the thread. The other 4 are all in this thread too.

I'm assuming you have a point you're trying to make but I'm not understanding what it is.

If he had 1 or 10 posts, my opinion still doesn't change all that much in this scenerio.

I'm just stating my opinion, its not necessary for anyone to feel they have to debate it. Nothing will change my mind. I'm not going to pick anyone else's opinion apart.

It isn't THAT important. :D

Pretty darn good logic if I might say so myself.

I don't think it can be said any better than that!!!

don't you have another thread you need to brag about how you can't stop being banned?

We all know how important you must feel about that. Have you had a t-shirt made to let everyone else know too? Lol

I just kid around and entertain myself :) But i do believe you think you are really fbi! lol nothing gets by you, dam!

Anyone ever tell you, you look quite similar to Liberace in that vimeo stream picture you have up?

Not only do many of the members of this forum have BS sniffers that work great but my own must need a tune up. I gave the OP a pass for what I felt was a honest mistake but now I have to wonder am I just a sucker?

I still wonder if anyone who is into pool enough to haunt this forum could even believe that Darren Appleton would play such a losing hand. I for one have never been anything but impressed by Darren, his game, history and personality. Just in case you read this board Darren you have been a great ambassador of the game.

Cuebuddy>may need a olfactory adjustment. :o
