I am raising some funds for a new cue I have in mind so am somewhat reluctantly putting my Darrin Hills sneaky up for sale. $290 shipped obo (Price dropped to $275).

This is a 4 point nicely figured cocobolo sneaky with a maple front and a maple band in the butt. Joint is flat-faced 3/8 x 10 wood-to-wood sleeved with black phenolic. Signed Hills Cue '07 - cue was made 6 months ago.

Those who have played with one of Darrin's sneakies can chime in on its playability and I was impressed that his cues play with very low deflection while retaining a terrific hit.

Cue is straight and weighs 19 oz (no weight bolt but one can be added). Points are nice and even.

Butt is 29" and weighs 15.5 oz.

Shaft is 29" and weighs 3.5 oz. Measures 12.75mm just below the ferrule. Ferrule is 1" Aegis.

Cue balances at 18 inches from the butt.

There is one very small spot on the butt (see last pic) and apart from that cue is in great condition.

Darrin Hill

If I hadn't just bought another Ed Young, a John Davis blank constructed by Corsair and a Starkey cue in the last month, I'd have been all over this.

Thanks for the interest guys. Cue is still for sale, though I have had quite a few queries. $275 (+ $5 for half of paypal charges) gets it shipped to your door.:)

how is the Starky?

He sent one I liked ok, but I wanted something a little different. Purpleheart, butterfly, two shafts, one for billiards, specific lengths and ferrules. Should be delivered today or tomorrow.

The other one hit nice but the long ferrule felt funny and I figured I might as well get one I like.
